En-suite Reveal

That BATH

Being serial house flippers means moving from not so good looking house to not so good looking house. We have lived in a house with a bath for a total of six months in the past eight years. I’ve never been more excited to have my very own en-suite with a….you guessed it BATH! And wait until you see it, it’s the bath of all baths.

Keeping in theme with the rest of the house, we wanted the en-suite to have the same relaxed and luxurious vibe. We opted for concrete looking floor tiles and large format, matt white wall tiles. And who could forget those Moroccan looking tiles that surround that bath, ceiling and all!

We love that you catch a glimpse of the Kentia palm outside the window and the extra greenery we have on the vanity. Hot tip - greenery in a bathroom takes it to the next level!

The Blackbutt timber vanity, with mitred edges and soft close, shark nose drawers is an absolute dream. The curved shower screen softens the space along with the round finishes on the tapware, stool and mirror. The brushed nickel tapware blends in perfectly with all of the selections (so glad I made that last minute design change!) and everything together creates a timeless, day spa feeling oasis.

There is a motorised roller blind that sits flush in the ceiling, and an automated led strip light along the bottom of the vanity so that you don’t have to turn on any lights in the middle of the night. These extra one percenters are what Orton Building are all about and I LOVE it. We hope you do too.
